Sessions
What ages do you photograph?
Everyone. Kids, teens, college students, adults, grandparents, athletes, families, friends and brands. If you have a personality, you belong here.
Is it just for kids?
Not at all. We photograph athletes, college students, friend groups, couples, families, founders and brands.
How many people can be in an Outtake?
The Founding Outtake works best for individuals and small groups. Sibling + Crew is available for groups of up to eight. For something bigger, get in touch and we'll build the session around you.
Can parents jump in?
Absolutely. Tell us who's coming on your Story Card so we can plan for it.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, as long as your pup is friendly and on a leash. Tell us ahead of time so we can plan.
What are the three favorite things?
Anything that says "this is me." A football. A stuffy. Lipstick. A Bible. A flower. A guitar. Grandpa's watch. Keep it small enough to hold and we'll build frames around it.
How long is a Drop session?
The Founding Outtake is 15 minutes. Full Story and Sibling + Crew are 25 minutes. Arrive five minutes early so you're ready when your session starts.
Can athletes wear their uniform?
Absolutely. Bring the jersey, helmet, ball, cleats or whatever feels like part of your story.
What if I'm awkward in photos?
Perfect. You don't need to know what to do. That's our job. We'll give you something to do, something to react to and plenty of reasons to forget there's a camera there.
What if my kid won't smile?
Perfect. We're not after the fake smile. The scowl, the side eye and the meltdown are welcome here.
Is hair and makeup available?
Yes, through our partner artists for select sessions and brand shoots, starting at $125. Ask us when you book.
Booking + Drop days
How do we pay?
Choose a 50% non-refundable deposit or pay in full. Your requested time is held for 24 hours while the invoice is sent. Your deposit or full payment locks it in. Any remaining balance is due before photography begins on shoot day.
Can I reschedule?
Deposits are non-refundable, but you can reschedule once to a future Drop with 72 hours' notice. Inside 72 hours we'll do what we can, but we can't promise a replacement date.
What if we're running late?
Drops run back to back, so late arrivals get the time that is left in their slot. We'll always do our best to make it work.
What if my kid is sick?
Message us as soon as you know and we'll move you to a future Drop once.
Are Drop sessions indoors or outdoors?
Drop 01 is indoors on our signature light backdrop at The Gathering House. Future Drops may change location or setup.
When does booking close?
Booking closes October 15 or when Drop 01 fills, whichever comes first.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards work for any Drop or session. Ask us or mention it in the inquiry form.
Is sales tax included in the price?
Advertised session pricing is shown before applicable sales tax. Your invoice shows the subtotal, applicable sales tax and total, with physical products such as tees, prints and frames listed separately.
Do you travel?
Yes. Custom travel shoots are available, and On Tour Portrait Drops are planned for 2027.
What should we wear?
Wear what feels like you. Solid colors and texture photograph beautifully. Avoid distracting logos unless the logo is part of the story. Athletes can bring uniforms and gear.
Photos + usage
When do I get my photos?
Your finished gallery arrives within 10 days. Expedited 72-hour editing is available for $75.
How many photos do we get?
The Founding Outtake includes 10 edited editorial portraits selected to tell the strongest story. Full Story includes every keeper from your session.
Black and white or color?
Our signature editorial look includes black and white. Full Story includes color versions of your favorites.
Do we get RAW files?
No. RAW files are unfinished working files. Your final edited images are the finished work.
Do you post our photos?
Only with your permission. You choose whether The Outtake Club can share images from your session. A parent or legal guardian gives that permission for anyone under 18.
Can we use the photos for business or NIL?
Personal use is included with portrait sessions. Commercial, sponsor, advertising or NIL use requires an appropriate usage license. Brand shoots include commercial usage terms as stated in the quote or invoice.
